Our establishments
Amba, formally known as Hale Wine Bar, was founded in 1975 and has a long established reputation.
In June 1999 Ryland and Judith Wakeham purchased it in partnership with David Edmundson. The management at Amba were all previously at The White House Restaurant ... Chefs Stoycho Dimitrov and Dave Key preside over our acclaimed kitchen.
Since Amba came to be, customers have enjoyed the freshly prepared food and great wines we provide at affordable prices.
